North American standout goes international

North American University standout Jalon Clark has officially signed a one-year contract with Sumqayit BK, a team in Azerbaijan's top-tier ABL (Azerbaijan Basketball League). Known for his versatility at guard/forward, Clark led the NAU Stallions to a 4th place finish in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC), while averaging 16.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, and shooting 51.2% from the field.

Clark's success extends beyond college hoops. He finished first in Player Efficiency Rankings at the 2024 Eurobasket Dallas ESL, further cementing his place as a rising star. Now, he is set to take his skills to the international stage, awaiting his plane ticket to join Sumqayit BK for the 2024–2025 season.

This move highlights Clark’s growth and determination, reflecting NAU’s strong basketball program and its ability to develop top talent. Clark’s journey from the RRAC to European basketball is an exciting step for both him and the university.
